Im having a problem getting my hat switches to work in flight. They work fine in the tower, but when I get in a plane they don't. Mouselook works, and I really like the new click thing, but is this messing up my hat switches? If anyone knows what might be happening, please let me know.
Also, could we get some multiple hat suport in game please?
Thanks

I can't tell if you're using the new Beta version which has the new joystick interface or the regular version.
If it's the regular version, you want to make sure your stick inputs are mapped in "Select Stick", don't forget to hit "Apply" and not just OK. Then you need to map the missing hat views in "Map Stick".
This will all make sense when you open the dialog windows.
GL and see ya Friday.

Yeah, I checked all the settings and made sure all axes and buttons were mapped correctly. It works when I'm sitting in the tower just fine, but when I get in a cockpit they do nothing. Guess I'll have to make do with the mouse for now, but someone please let me know if you have any other ideas. Thanks for the help easy!

That sounds like you have Mouse View clicked.

Easy score...that got it....my hat views now work.......
but....I need mouse pan. How do we get that one back?>

In order to use the hat view you must first toggle off the Mouse Look using Shift+M, but in order to use the mouse look you have to toggle it back on. In previous version you could use Either view type without toggling Shift+M on and off. That was much better as I use the two view types interchangeably depending on the situation. Now I get shot down by ppl I don't even see coming. Do you know how to get it back to the way it was?

Hum, I suspect the TrackIR users can answer that one but maybe not now that AH2 has built in support for it.
PS. Sorry G, we posted at the same time. No I don't know.

Yeah it was the mouselook button. I unchecked it and it worked. I had tried the Shift M, but that didn't work for some reason. Problems solved. Hope this can help other people, and thanks to everyone for the input.
