i dont get it..... im in a f4u1d and land 7 kills in 1 sortie 7 kills seem like alot but when i land it says i only get 850 points in 1 sortie i would think i would get more points then that. i mean i see ppl who have 5 kills and land that get 2000. i mean how exactly do u get points for fighter rank. BTW i acually landed them so i dont get why it only gave me 850. just wondering

ENY man. Want to get perks quick? Up an early-war ride and watch the perks roll in.

? Ive landed 10 in that thing and got 4.00 perks. It has many ways of not giveing you alot of perks. 1d is 24eny? so many of the planes you killed had to be over 24 eny. Or the eny mod could have been in the 70s. Also some could have been proxy kills. Perks meen nothing to do with your rank. I have 11,000 fighter perks i dont even look back at them anymore.

im not talking about perks...... im talking about POINTS. like look at fighter rank and you will see a score thing that says points. i want to know how to get more points. for example look at shawks rank he has 1 kill and he landed it how the hell did he get 918 points for 1 kill and i get 850 for 7 thats BS.

"Points" are based on the damage you do to the enemy planes. All damage you did to enemy planes, whether you got the kill or not. Its not directly related to the number of kills you got.
If you line up on a bomber and get solid continious hits on it, but only get credit for an assist, you may (likely even), get more points than you would for a snap shot that removed a wing from a fighter that you got kill credit for. Why? Bombers generally absorb more damage than fighters before fatal damage occurs. Same could be said for shooting a fuselage in half vs shooting off a wing. Different areas of the plane absorb different amouts of damage before they fail.
Fankly I wouldn't worry about that stat. Worry about performing well in the other 80% of stats that make up the total fighter score. The points vs enemy is the only fighter stat accumulates, and the only stat that rewards quantity over quality...but its only 20% of the score. The other stats are the ones that reward your personal average performance.

Pop a few bombers in the cockpit and watch them explode! I think their worth one-thousand points each more or less.

while the points system is hard to understand, the 1 thing ive figured out is it works some what the same as all the rest of the scoring on AH, damage done to the enemy.
if its rank scoring you are seeking it has a few components to it like HIT PERCENTAGE , KILLS PER SHORTIE, KILLS PER HOUR, KILLS TO DEATHS RATIO.
if u type ( .score YOURNAME ) in the buffer in MA it will give you all those stats or you can get it from AH pilot scores at this site.
i fly the c205 alot its a great point plane! even a couple unlanded kills range from 10 -20 points. if its points your after fly late model planes you will be supprised. atleast i get one over on those 16 n LA pilots cuz i know they aint getting much if they get me haha.
