Title: No Pan View from joystick or keyboard...

Hub mentioned it in his post's title, but not in the body...

With the new patch, the "pan" (or more specifically "direction mode pan") has been lost--it does not work however I try to map it to my joystick, nor does it work from 'F2' on the keyboard.
