Title: Thank you Pyro, HT, and Skuzzy
Post by: Captain Virgil Hilts on June 02, 2006, 04:28:10 PM
There WAS a problem with the update, the new patch did fix my stick. Since I posted about it and complained, to put it mildly, I'll also post and say they did fix it, they replied to my emails, and they took care of the problem. The service is greatly appreciated. Hell, they didn't even complain about my lousy attitude. Now THAT is service.

I would venture a guess they turn their cheek more than we can ever imagine.

I have never had an email go unanswered. Of the three or so I have sent in over the past two years, all were answered the same day.

HTC's support crew always have got back to me same day, often same hour. Unlike many, many game companies HTC is run like a professional software company and they deserve a lot of credit for that. Especially given how small the company is, support usually suffers in a small outfit.

Throw them a few extra bucks.

It's probably not a normal thing to tip a game company.

in other news, an inexplicable mountain dew supply shortage in TX seems to have occured almost overnight.
some are blaming the disposable income of the newly emerged chinese middle class.
a programmer with YTR3WQ imprinted on the side of his head had no comment

I did my best to backup your cause  Captain virgil  because I have the same stick

Soon as i looked at the website 1st thing i knew they had done the business.

checked it all in game and as batfink said 3 minutes about does all the calibration needed.

Working on getting the force feedback going think thats where the problem might have been....

Thanks  HT crew!
