I think i mest it up.
u see... i downloaded patch installed patch, got new hirestex installed that.
went in to play game, i got in a bomber to see if i can really fire while on ground. and this is when the pain begins...
i noticed that the graphics weren't as sharp as the last time i play so i went into the video settings and it was there that i noticed that there were some option that weren't there before, namely the "optimize" options. "Hmm, i wonder what exactly these will do for me?" i asked myself as i clicked the options on, then when i ezited the menu back into the game, Aces High II failed me, yes sad to say it encountered some sort of an error after i selected the two options and i had to exit back to desktop. "well i guess i'll just go back into the game and turn these two options off" i said. WRONG. now i can't get into the game to change the options back! i can get all the way to the menu where i selcted which game arena i wish to play in and then. CRASH, AH2 encounters a problem and i must exit.
this is pissing me off...immensly. :mad:

Do we drive over to your house and help ya set up your pc ???
or do we hack into your pc and get the info we need that way ????

i need to know how i can get back in to reset the options i changed.
if that can't be done then i guess i have to re download aces high, correct?

First thing, go to your Aces High folder on your computer and delete the video8.cfg file. This is your video settings.
Now start Aces High. When the clipboard comes up, click on Video Settings. It will detect your video card all over again. Dont use the high rez textures. Set your max texture size to 512 or 256. I'd do 256 first, until I was sure it ran ok, then try 512 and see if it's still playable at that level.
Do not preload anything to video. Preload to system memory only. Close that window and go back to the main screen. Sign in (online or offline, either one).
Go to Options, and then to whatever the graphics settings is called now, I think its the first option. Make sure all those optimize things you unchecked are checked again.
Go have fun.
If all that fails, reinstall.
