Okay...This might sound a little crazy, but I'll throw it out...I dont know if I have heard of this from a historical standpoint, or if it was strictly hollywood, but what if we had the option to deploy "fake" tanks to a spawn point....I know I have heard of this, I just cant place my finger on where...I wanna say rubber tanks were inflated to look like a larger show of force....Anyways, inflate the rubber tanks, get the enemys attention where they think a mass GV raid is IB, and strike from another flank?
I dunno....this is a stupid idea, and the odds of it ever happening are worse than me ever getting an A20 without ords, but I thought id throw it out for chips and dip.....

uhhhhh..... rubber tanks..... hmmm.......... *dreamy look*
OK, sorry for poking fun at you, i just couldnt resist that opening :D.
If they did it historically, why not? But im afraid itll be at the bottom of priority list.... after the Sheep.

Interesting idea... You'd have to have them pop in and out randomly to thwart spawn campers... Maybe make them a "building" so that if you pop a decoy you still get a small fraction of a point :)

Great..all we need is fake tanks farting and flying all over the map when you hit them :D

Inflatable tanks were used for the Pre D-Day landings to make the germans think they were massing for an invasion at another location than Normandy.
As it is, map makers can place tanks, they would just act like buildings though.

Decoys were used extensively by axis & allied powers.

We've already got two fake tanks, why would we need more?
