So the Good Guv'ner of Texas is sending 5 million dollars to private land owners to install night vision equipped web cams where folks all over the world can watch and report any illegal aliens they see crossing by use of a toll-free number.

I have thought about the same thing. I didnt want to post about it though cause I didnt feel like getting roasted.

Now would it be illeagal if you shot paintballs with infared tracking paint and bright blue dye that doesnt wash off for 2 weeks?

Be kinda hard to hide if they got through.

to hell with paintballs. Just hook up some high preasure water hoses with the blue die. No mater where they run you cant miss and are pretty sure of adequate coverage.

pfft, they'd just sue you & probably win. The U.S. should just patrol the border with armed attack helos. It's time to stop the invasion.

Closed circuit cameras???? Pfui! Mount a remote controlled mini 30 cal gattling gun under the camera that an online user can control to zap an intruder. NOW you're talkin!  :aok

After having been here awhile now i may have figured out the best way.

Erect signs along the border facing inland that says EU, UN or eurupe. That should gather enough vulenteers to patrol the border hard and shoot anything that moves on the other side ;)

Great idea, but with the public being used as monitor, the trafficers might simply flood the call centers with false reports unless there is a way to quickly verify the situation.

Seriously ..

Issue a 5 year green card, and at the 5 yr mark, they have to be able to speak english intelligibly or be deported.

Not the 'king's' english, and not perfectly (heck even I got a *b* in English)
.. just so they can read, comprehend, and act on instructions.
