Whatever next, Eagler?

We'll be making a Prime Minister out of the bloke who got the fewest votes, if we're not careful.

Or calling the election results based on exit polls conducted by large media organisations desperate for instant viewer gratification.

Or arguing in the courts for months, not knowing who has actually won.

Or badgering various communities into believeing that their vote wasn't counted.

Or electing a man who has made more gaffes (even before office) than Prince Phillip.

BTW, William Hague is the leader of the Conservatives. He went to my school and presented me with my 'A'-Level certificates.

He has a perchant for band-wagons and xenophobia is his middle name.

As for the monarchy, we decided to implement the first modern parliament in the world, while gradually removing the power of that monarchy. We now use them to attract tourists and/or embarrass themselves into meaninglessness.
