Title: For those of you with MS FFB sticks
Post by: FiLtH on June 09, 2006, 03:46:48 PM
That dont have force working. In case you missed the tech thread, go into the game. The stick wont be working. Alt/tab out of game to desktop. Some guys crash doing this or dont have a cursor. For you guys I dont know the answer. But for others, open game controllers in control panel of windows, test the forces on your stick. Then go back in game. (Click on taskbar aces high tab to go back in game)
It should be working now.

Thank you Tophat of Nightmares for the info!

Alternatively you can see this thread (http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=179735) and download a temporary fix from HTC.

I alt tab out alot to change songs, you can bring the cursor back to life with a 3 finger salute, i.e  ctrl alt del.. brings up the task manager and cursor.

The FF in this saitek rumble force just isnt the same anymore... anyone know if the FF is affected by where the sliders are set?

I'm still tweaking the JS settings to dial it in to where it was.

Before the patch (and maybe after) you can make the mouse show up by hitting the Windows key instead of Alt-Tabbing.

After the last patch the mouse cursor bug is fixed. At least it is for me. :)
