Recall this being broght up before, but did search and could not find it.
Happened on baltic and C37. Upped F6F heavy. CV was strait. The only enemy action at the time was a panzer out of range and a SB that was between rounds.
The rear 5" fired at the same time(at the V-base, not an AC).

Mentioned in this thread: Here. (http://hitechcreations.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=179425)
...but the hangar issue has been addressed.
-
What was your exact load out and fuel? I can't reproduce this.
-
I know when the bent prop happened to Colt44 it was a chog and probably heavy but youd have to ask him. I think the other guy was krane or noman but not sure. Usually were 75 fuel 1ks and rockets. These same guys were having trouble with seeing the hangar.
When I fell through the CV deck I was 75 fuel one drop tank and rockets in the chog at launch and on landing was empty except for seven gallons.
-
Happened to me last night in the MA while using a seafire from a cv.
Had 100 fuel and a slipper tank. Went otr and instant prop damage. Went back to the hanger, got rid of the slipper tank and kept 100 fuel. Spawned fine the next try.
Have no idea if the dt has anything to do with it or not.

Had this happen to me on a CV in an F6-F ... spawned ... crunch goes the prop.
Later I spawned an F4-U onto the deck and it fell thru the CV ... straight to the water.
-
F6F, 75%, 2-1ks and rocks. Spawned twice afterward with same loadout and no problems. Once while CV was turning.
-
Topper, has this ever happened when landing your F6F?
-
Got a stranger one -
Upping a Tiffy after just logging in, got the spinning world view from the cockpit.
OK no prob used .ef and exited.
Tried numerous planes from different fields, same thing.
So exited the game back to the login screen, same thing upon entering theg ame.
Exit all the way back to the desktop then back into the game, everything fine.
-
I continue having random prop strikes on cvs after spawning to the deck.
It does not seem to be map or individual cv related.
It happens in various planes.
I never carry 100% fuel and some sorties have ord loaded and some do not.
It never occurs two times in a row. It seems to happen on the first spawn on a cv, but not on subsequent spawns to same cv. I can never get lucky enough to get a film of it because subsequent spawns are fine.
One possiblity is that it seems to happen when 'deploying' from the hanger, and not when deploying from the Tower view.
-
Had this happen one time so far. Don't think the plane or the loadout matters!
Have you noticed ..................
had a squadie lose both wingtips on his 190, he had no damage of any sort. Have seen other planes just sorta break off parts suddenly.
Also saw a typhie I was on suddenly fall apart way after he had been shotup. The typhie pulled out of a shallow climb and just fell apart.
Is this perhaps a test of the LUCK thing that HTC was/is planning to put into CT???

I was in the cv hangar last night as the rv8 assault was beginning and so was Bishops attack on A44 from two cvs. While I was setting up my plane I could see F6F parts falling through the deck and past the hangar so I went topside and the plane taking off lost control immediately and crashed. I dont know if they were related but thought it might be worth mentioning.

Same thing has happened to me in the AvA. Happened in the seafire and the A6m, and every time was 25% fuel.
-
Happened to me in chog lastnight. 100% fuel and 2 1000lb bombs. Went to tower and then reupped. Was fine after.

We found this bug and it is fixed for the next patch.
As a work around until next patch always launch from the tower on the CV instead of the hangar.

Yeah I guess launching from the hangar, you're brought up through the elevator and along the way, your mechanic gets PO'ed at you and bends your prop !
