Title: Still can't fly-by-mouse
Post by: Martyn on June 10, 2006, 08:40:22 AM
Got Patch 2 and set the options in the map controllers window for Modes 1 and 2.

I managed to get the throttle set to the mouse wheel but when I fly the mouse moves across the screen but the plane doesn't bank/pitch at all - i.e. the mouse has no effect.

It's a standard USB mouse and works/worked fine before so I gues I missed something somewhere. Maybe a switch I missed? Any ideas?

Buy a joystick.

Not helpful.

If you are saying the AH doesn't support mouse anymore then I'd have to quit.

This isn't my machine I'm using.

Map either the "Mouse Control Hold" (means you have to hold down the left mouse button to fly), or "Mouse Control Toggle" (means the left mouse button acts as a toggle between fly mode and interface mode) to the left mouse button.

It was covered in the readme for the patch.

That probably explains it.

I have only got the one controller - called 'Mouse'.

Thanks Skuzzy.
