that was very cool.  Action was pretty similar where we were to the NE defending our ships.  109's, 110's, more 109's, more 110's.....etc. etc. etc.  Survived all that only to get whacked trying to catch the JU88's

Sorry about that, bro!  ;) To your credit, you put up an extremely good fight in a very bad situation.  Tough to deal with multiple 109G-2's in a Hurri 2c!  If the situation was reversed, I know I wouldn't have lasted as long as you did.

Hehe, BlkKnit... I believe I got a piece of you, SoloMaw too. He eventually pulled an amazing reversal and removed my elevators with a snapshot.

Was a very fun frame!

Hey Bronk I have TrackrIr also, any tips thoughts on using it? We do a lot of formation flying and I find it hard with tracker, Usually disable it.  ACM is awesome :)

ha, I think everybody got a piece of me :p

I had fun, and to think I almost didn't fly.  Was just tired and frustrated and actually turned off my 'puter about 15 minutes before 10:00. Then about 5 minutes later my wife decides to go visiting the neighbors so I turned it back on.

Falcon do you have vector enabled or no?
If no vector then...
1. Set up views in game.
2. Set a TrackIR profile so it has a decent size dead band then scale movement to taste. Personally I have it set to move a lot for a little head movement.
3. Set forward on hat to lock forward view . (helps when you have them in sights)
4. Set a center trackir refresh button on stick helps if tracir gets lost.

Now if you have the vector
1. Do the soda straw mod to the hat clip. Once i did this mod the trackir almost never gets lost.
2. disable roll it is almost useless.

There is a thread for setting vector profiles. I'll see if i can find it and post link in this thread.

Now that I am comfortable with my trackir it only goes off when in ship gunner or tank main gun position.

Found vector settings :

Deadbands are really important.
When you set them up right the thing is fantastic.

Use the edit profile option, with the head/gages/tracking boxes checked, and mess with the deadband settings.
I set mine like this:
Tacking type = Vector

Positon - Value
Yaw
0- 0
2- 4
5- 9
10- 20
20- 26
30- 26
40- 79
50- 77

Pitch
0- 0
2- 6
5- 17
10- 18
20- 23
30- 0
40- 0
50- 0

Roll
0- 0
2- 1
5- 1
10- 0
20- 8
30- 7
40- 0
50- 0

X
0- 0
2- 0
5- 8
10- 9
20- 14
30- 75
40- 75
50- 75

Y
0- 1
2- 25
5- 80
10- 80
20- 80
30- 79
40- 79
50- 69

Z
0- 0
2- 6
5- 79
10- 79
20- 51
30- 23
40- 1
50- 0

Good luck - 6 views = look left/lean right or look right/ lean left

This is from speed55.
I find this is a good starting point for vector profiles.
