Post by: cav58d on June 11, 2006, 12:30:14 AM
Just got home from the movie "cars"...Not only was it a highly entertaining film, but we have an Aces High member who stared in the film!!!!!  AUTHOR65!!!!!!!!!!  The voice and personality of ol' mater....ya know, tamater, without the ta'...haha...For anyone that knows "author65" I suggest you see the movie, because the second this character spoke, I started cracking up and thought of author immediately...He even acts how I would imagine author would act in person...well...for a tow truck of course...haha

anyways, just thought i'd share...check it it, your crack up

Anyone immediately think of Author when they saw the movie, or now that I have brought this up, have you been able to make the connection?  LMAO...

lol.  I'm glad to hear about an AH member being one of the voices in the film.  It'll make it more interesting to me when I take my family to see it in about 10 minutes.  :aok

The sad thing is... An animated movie probably will be better than 95% of crap Hollywood puts out this year.  Sad state of affairs.

Yeah, I've only seen 2 good ones in theaters in the last year- X3 and Underworld Evolution.

Gotta go see cars.

All I can say is, when those Harrier / F-18's flew over - I was about to bust out the lighter and go "Yeaaaa!!!!!"

This was the first movie I can remember where I felt the $8 was well spent.  In fact, after the movie I wanted to go back to the ticket booth and give them another $8 in appreciation for a job well done.

What I would have really liked would have been able to buy the DVD on the way out.
