i have a Logitech Driving Force Pro (ffb wheel) and a Saitek P880 Gamepad (dual analogue pad) i know this isnt the best for a flight sim but i would love to get them working so i dont have to pay for a stick, i dont have much money at the moment.
what is the best way i can set these up to use with Aces High, if it is even possible, ive tried in game but i cant see what i need to do. what i would like is to use the pedals with the pad, and maybe map the buttons on the wheel to do some other actions but thats not a priority, i would just like to fly first :p i would like to use the wheel for driving if i can but like i say thats not important and i can solve that later.
the pedals work like this, the accelerator makes the plane nose down. the brake pedal is left rudder.
i cant get the pad to control the planes roll or altitude.
i really am getting stuck setting up does anyone have any advice because i cant fly at all at the moment! i dont even know how to disable the wheel so i can just use the pad only :rofl

The joystick options in AH is great. Im sure you can in the game options map all the buttons and axes as you want.
Open the clipboard (ESC) and select [Options]->[Controls]->[MapControllers]
There you can map the joystick axes to what you want.
Play around with the settings, im sure you can get it to work.

ive got just the gamepad working on its own now, but i cant seem to get the pedals to work with the gamepad how do i do that? i would like to have it so the pedals are the rudder. when i select the driving force pro it changes all the controls back to the default settings and i cant use the gamepad after that.
