Agh.
I hate ch products.
Or rather, I love the stuff. I just wish they had some kind of QUALITY ASSURANCE department.
Stick has been spikey from the beginning. Now it's so bad I have to put dampeners on so much that all sense of crispness is gone. Even then it spike enough to get outta autopilot.
So, til those people there get my pots here (if they ever do), I am grounded.

StSanta try reloading your gameport/joystick driver. This can "refresh" your gear and it's operability temporarily. At times for good again too. Just go to the Windows device manager and update driver off your Windows CD.

Run it through a reguar wash cycle with a mild detergent. When you dry it, make sure that you throw in one of those "Bounce" thingies.

MrLars, ordered it two days ago, and haven't gotten an order verification, so am curious whether it is actually in or not.

Santa, you can open the old pots and clean the carbon deposits if needed. This requires removing the old grease from the contact panal and pick ups. Also, rebend the pick ups enough for a firm contact. You don't have to regrease them if you don't want to, just be sure the where the casing touchs the shaft has lubrication.
Generally, this will make the pots like brand new again (I've never had to replace the ones in my CH stuff, about 4 years old, without ever having a spike problem).
Also, if you don't want to bother with CH you can pick up pots at most electronic stores.
