OMFG..

Ive been following the process of this hotas setup for a while, but now I realize that I MUST have it!

ALL METAL PARTS, new rudder system, super precise, good software..

Only bad part is that it has pots, but that shouldnt be so much of a problem since the stick is digital and the pots are high quality.

Ive been using the saitek for a few months and its still as precise as the first day, TM should do better!

I've been waiting for this one for quite some time now.

This is the setup that will replace my F22 Pro and TQS setup.

I gave my F22 and TQS to a friend with a disability.  While I don't regret the move, I sure do miss the stick.

I'll be in line with my paycheck ready to hand it over when this is finally released.

Its gonna cost an arm and a leg, and your two front teeth, but it will be well worth it. I dont think you will ever need to replace it

Guillemot is a French company, which means Europe will at least get at the same time as the US! Or even before! Cool.

Paid a little more than that for just the F-22.  The TQS was another $120.

I'd expect this to be comparable to those figures... maybe a little more.

They say that they are aiming for less than the F22/TQS as far as price goes.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

Initial price or final price?  The F22 was introduced at something like $249.  The TQS was somewhat cheaper at $169.  The prices came down after a month, but quite a few die-hards couldn't wait.  Fortunately, my F-16 and WCS2 were serving me well.

These are the same Bustmaster folks who made the F16 top gun pro stick that will not work with the bustmaster rudder pedal system.

After sending the stick back and having to remind them 2 months later to return or replace it they still wouldn't admit it would not work together. I had to find out through the BBS and then get confirmation from bustmaster.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/mad.gif)

Nope Maverick, its not the same "bustmaster"
(and I rather prefer the name Thrustmaster, sounds like a porn name)

The company was bought by Guillemot a few months ago. Thats how the got the funding to make the new line of joysticks, controllers and dildos with very high quality.

Actually, they were bought by Guillemot almost a year and a half ago so it could be them.  I've had mixed results with their tech support, but no worse than I've seen with other large companies out there.  I'd bet on ignorance before a lie...the support guy you talked to probably just didn't know enough about what he was supporting to tell you.  In any case, they couldn't possibly be as bad as Logitech's email support...automated responce, then when you escalate it to a real person, what you get might as well be an automated responce.

(http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) Straffo You cheated at Hastings - your troops were fresh, whereas King Harold's had just smacked the Vikings about and had to double time for about 300 miles back South to fight the Normans.

Agincourt might be spelt differently, straf. Agincourt was where King Henry defeated about 25,000 French troops (including heavy cavalry) with about 6000 English long-bow archers.

Having said all this, the genetic differences between English and French people are virtually nil. We invaded each other dozens of times over the last 2000 years.

In more ways than one.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
