Just saw the DVD tonight. Excellent movie about Burt Monroe and how he broke the landspeed record for streamlined motorcycles under 1000cc.

If you haven't seen it, there are definitely worse movies to watch.

I remember seeing Anthony Hopkins on the promo tour for this. Definitely on my "gotta see" list.

Brought a tear to my eye as Monroe stood on the salt for the first time and talked of Sir Malcolm Cambell.  "This is holy ground, mate.  Holy ground"

Best movie I've seen in 10 years.

I also liked the way he mowed his lawn.
