Was checking the other thread on the IX v VIII and was looking around.

Shows a pic of a 32sqn VIII at Foggia Itlay 1944 in hi-alt camo.
Could either be -
Uppers Med Sea Grey, Lowers PRU Blue
OR

Any thoughts?
[edit] Ignore, it was in med sea grey over PRU blue

Bob Curtis' Spitfire Mk Vb looks the bees knees.
Did Bob Curtis ever fly any other Mks of Spitfire ?
-
Nothing specific on those birds Kev. I'd sure wonder though and want some photographic back up to make sure it's not just speculation.
The different camo from the rest of the group he's flying with or from other recognizable Allied camo, would seem to be a great way to get shot down by mistaken identity.

Well I ordered the first set of decals, just to see.
They usually come with some info, it's just the 3-color VF-K has piqued my interest.
Will let ya's know.
Think it would look great, and very unusual.
From the 5th FS "The Spitten Kittens" (finger crossed the decals have more info)
