Title: Problem saving missions
Post by: Gooss on June 14, 2006, 11:41:37 AM
After editing a mission, I try to save it and it won’t save to its original name.  It saves to the last mission I created from scratch.  For example, I created and saved a mission entitled Base Capture.  I then loaded and edited another mission named Fighter Sweep.  When I save Fighter Sweep, “Mission saved to Base Capture” appears in text box.  When I check the missions, Base Capture has been overwritten with the changes and Fighter Sweep is unchanged.

Thinking it may be a problem using an old mission.  I tested it with new missions and the problem still exists.

How do I save missions now?  Or is it a feature?

Thanks for the help.

I had problems myself.  I believe you need to save the mission you are currently working on and then exit the mission planner completely.

Go back into it a create a new mission and it will save as the new name.

I was having fit over this before I figured it out.

I am not completely sure about any of this, so you might test it a bit yourself.

Thanks, BlkKnit.

I tested it by leaving the Mission Planner, then going back.  It still saved as the wrong file.

I then completly closed AH, restarted and I could save under the new name.

At least I have a workaround.  I originally wanted to update my stored missions.  I think this will work for me.

Thanks for the tip.
