I've uploaded my latest Avenger skin to The AH Skin Department (http://www.ah-skins.com/). This aircraft was flown by Lt G.J. Connolly of 854 Naval Air Squadron. It flew from HMS Illustrious on the Royal Navy's Sumatra oil field air strikes of late 44/early 45. During the raid on the Palembang refinery, Lt Connolly used his front guns to shoot down a Ki44 that was attacking another Avenger. Incidentally, this squadron's Avengers also accounted for two V-1s while flying cover for the D Day landings.
I based this skin on the research Tony O Toole did for the plastic kit shown here. (http://www.largescaleplanes.com/Photostory/TonyOToole/Avenger/Avenger.htm) Tony is writing a magazine article featuring the history of this plane, which he kindly let me read. I've had to take a few liberties with the camouflage due to the skin mirroring, but its not too noticable.
