What do you guys think?  I think it looks sweet, but have no clue if it is authentic...

Maybe its a Korean War era bird?  But honestly I have no idea. :D

It's post WW2 but it's accurate.  Wouldn't work in AH though

The green and white bands were for training squadrons post war. One way of telling if it is post war is if the insignia have red bands in the bars. Unfortunately all the decent F4U-4 schemes seem to be post war ones, USN schemes got progressively more boring as WW2 went on. :)

Shame... would be nice if they would let it in due to all the boring paint schemes for this plane and the fact there are only a couple skins for it.  Really looks sharp.

Same applies to F4u1C and F4u1D... boring paint schemes (D has more than some, but most are the same). I don't think they'll let post-war skins in just because the skin options are limited (lol)
