Title: New puffy ack lag.

Never had a problem befor but now every time I get over a base or CV the very first puffy ack shot freezes me for a second or two then all is well after.  

not a real big problem but it's not nice when trying to line up on a con at the edge of puffy range and boom freeze for a sec or 2. :)

May be custom sound or sound card related. You haven't changed anything have you? Might want to look into sound driver update also.

Mine does the same thing but for only for a half second or so. I chalked it up to Realtek AC'97 onboard sound(no custom sounds here). Hope it doesn't get worse as the game advances.
