Title: Question: PPU and flightsims..
Post by: TexMurphy on June 16, 2006, 06:18:41 AM
HT I dont know if this should be on wish list or on general forums, sorry if I posted in wrong place.

Im just wondering how you view the upcomming PPU´s.

How will the impact on flight sims in general and on AH in perticular.

Will PPU´s over the next say 3 years add something to flight sims we havent been able to see before?

Will AH support PPU´s?

Tex

PPU - isn't that a hawaiian dish you eat with your fingers?

PPU = Physics Processing Unit

GPU = Graphics Processing Unit

CPU = Central Processing Unit

Basically it is a new chip type that is specialized to do physics calculations and take more of the work load off of the CPU.
