HTC...
This is getting rediculous!!!!
There seem to be some obvious deficiencies in your sheep modeling. They seem to run faster with each new release. The newbie coming into the game has difficulty catching them and they bite now! I have extensive books on the sheep in England in 1942 and the wool on your sheep is much too fluffy as well. We need more ticks and they need to smile much less. There is a bug also and this may belong in the "Bug Forum" but there is a flock of sheep that "bark" instead of "baaa" when chased. I am thinking of canceling my account because everytime I mention the obvious UBER nature of the sheep it falls on deaf ears. Pyro admitted that the sheep needed some work several releases ago because they preform the same at different altitudes! We all know sheep at higher altitude should not have as much endurance. PLEASE FIX THIS! I know there will be people accusing me of WHINING but HTC needs to listen to your customers. After all it OUR game..not YOURS!

First of all, where's your data to back up these so called "inaccuracies" in the sheep modeling. Quit, don't quit, who cares. You whiners are really beginning to piss me off. This is the best sheep sim out there, and if you think you can get better sheep in WWII Baaanline then just go there already. But you know you'll just be back in a week!
WTG HTC for the best damned sheep sim out there!

Thunder ,
You know the rules, if you think something is not correctly modeled, you gotta present movies for all of us to see excatly what you are talking about :D

Thunder, obviously you just haven't learned how to deal with sheep. Just because a sheep gets away from you doesn't mean it's over-modelled. The books you have probably are dealing with the 1941 model English sheep. By late war, the English sheep was much more adept at avoiding GI's and had even taken to biting. This was a vast improvement in armament over the early war sheep. Their altitude performance was also vastly improved by 1944 due to all the times they had been taken up to join the mile high club. Why is it every time someone gets beaten by a sheep, they whine the sheep is over-modelled instead of just facing the fact that they (the whiner) are under-modelled? :D

Ewe don't know what you are talking about. :D

Strange but true...
In Lebanon, men are legally allowed to have sex with animals, but the animals must be female. Having sexual relations with a male animal is punishable by death.(Like THAT makes sense.)
-
What irritates me is that HTC has chosen to focus primarily on US sheep and has completely omitted German sheep from the game. This is obvious allied favoritism. If its not corrected, all the LW pilots are going to have to quit!

Films! Pictures! Heres your Proof!!!
See in Beta they used to be nice and docile.. and all over the field.. Contented and easy to catch! :)
Now they not only run away but are so overmodeled and UBER that they fight better than Hangtime!

HTC,
I'm with Thunder on this.
For one thing, you guys should check out that other game. I think it's called X-Sheep.
It uses a much more accurate method of modeling, Wool Element Theory. It is so real that you can feel the slippery nature of the high-lanolin content wool.
Another thing you might want to look at. In all my reading about the Sheep Wars, the guys that really were good at... um ... "befriending" sheep had to get REAL CLOSE to ... um ... have a sheep added to their "score". There's ample tales of getting so close there was "wool in my teeth" and I didn't "pull the trigger" until I was "close enough to bite the ear".
It's not like that with AH sheep; you can "score" a sheep from much farther than historical accounts suggest.
Please look into this.

I would just like to know why EVERY TIME I have one of these sheep right where I want 'em, a clear six shot. He turns around and tries to HO me! Something needs to be done about this! And don't even get me started on those uber-hispano ewes...

I have no problem catching, then proceeding to love up the sheep.
I think it's all your problems. You whine too much, you should spend the time you're whining to get better at catching these so-called "uber" sheep.
Until you perfect your sheep catching skills, then I am going to have all the sheep to myself.

I think the introduction of manable acks has not gone unnoticed by the sheep. I am pretty sure that we have in sheepable acks.
hBlair was killed under mysterios circumstances last night. while parked at a flat field. I felt at the time that the sheep manned a bofors and got him but I didnt want to be allarmist. Now that the sheep is out of the bag so to speak I think we should be aware. That not only does the ack work for sheep. But killshooter does not apply to the puffy buggers...

Not meaning to hi-jack this thread, but last night there were over 80 Sheep on!
These odds are entirely unfair!
I enjoy chasing sheep, but with so many, they were chasing MEEE!!!
Baaaah!

The sheep around here are extremely under modeled.
I can't help but think of the, um, sheep sound file for Air Warrior. Booya.
-
What?? You idiotic and foolish humans think you are the only species permitted to orgainize? Without revealing our true intentions, we have already managed to take over knitland.. and the LW is OURS to command. We are very soon going to be controling the remainder of your acks, your fleets and your beer.
From now on, you may safely consider any knight FW or 109 to be piloted by.. yesss... US! It's about time we got a chance to tear off a piece....
... and we are BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD.

First off I would like to say, as a Goat, that the sheep in Aces High are definitely over modeled. As Thunder said They seem to run faster with each new release. The newbie coming into the game has difficulty catching them and they bite now!” I have been to WWII Baaanline, and the Sheep just stand there like a blow up sheep. On a more serious note I think Jessie Jackson may be calling on the folks at AH. There seems to be a shortage of black sheep. This is very disturbing and what about the Asian Sheep?

Hey HTC, people, I have the solution!!!
PERK THE SHEEPS!!!!!
I dont think there is a big problem in the SM (sheep model), and as always is "the man behind the sheep".
The real problem is the number!!
And the Biscuits and the crooks are using waaay too much the sheeps, and gangbanging us poor kniggits, so....
Perk the sheeps!!!
I'll start another poll thread to test us customer wills
"What you will like to do with the sheeps?"

Oh btw... i've found a definite bug in the sheep damage modelling !!!
You can run them over with a tank and they just bounce under it and come back out on the other side without as much as a scratch.. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO SLOW'EM DOWN ??
In good 'ol AW the Sheep damage model was a lot better as they even gave this realistic sheep critcial damge sound: "Beaahhh crack"..
THAT's what i call feedback :P
-
I concur with Thunder & Toad on this one. But I would like to add that is very frustrating that you carefully set a nice rear quarter att.."befriending" attepmp, and, as time consuming and skill demanding as it is, the bugger will go for the HO on a regular basis, with no appreciation for ACM whatsoever. Please Htc. pay some attention to this, because HO is very badly implemented here, as it causes severe damage to... <uh> ...cannon, and always favours the sheep. Please remove sheep's teeth. :D
-
Man, what is it with you whiners? HTC's Sheep are over modeled, X-Sheep is just right, AW sheep this & that.... Damned simmers. How many of you have ever had a REAL Sheep? Yeah, about as many have real P-51's! Until you guys show me the code you are using to model this, you're just pulling the wool over my eyes!
P.S.-You guys are so off topic you haven't figured it out. It isn't the sheep that are overmodeled, it's that the grass is undermodeled!!!! If you have ever flown into the Grass in AH, you know it's just as hard as the rocks. That my friends, is where the real modeling problem is. The Sheep are JUST right :p .

G'day,
This is sortta off topic for this thread, but I figure you guys may be able to help me.
I've found the sheep no worries, can catch 'em no worries too, no sheep, real or simulated is a match for a Blue Heeler.....but something wierd is going on, no matter where I look, I just cant seem to find any Bulls.
I know for a fact that there must be some, their telltale droppings are everywhere.
Occasionally, you will even hear people broadcast that they have found some over channel one , thye cry goes out..." Thats BS!!!" usually however, it turns out to be just another tricky bit of ACM ( Argentinian Cow Manure) immitating real roadkill.
Come to think of it, I can smell even more roadkill here than in the MA....mebbe the bulls are all BBS jocks these days, leaving all the REAL work to the sheep :)

Fargin Aussies... you and them damned Kiwi's have plauged our brethern in the southern hemisphere for far too long..
Soon, very soon; you blue heelers will catch more than sheep when u chase wool.

hitech and pyro haven't seen a properly modelled sheep since hurdrex paraded dolly around at the vampire conference. Now THAT was a vinyl sheep among sheep.
a 10 ft tall vampire shepard didn't hurt of course, but that night we all saw the effects a properly modelled sheep (complete with accessories) is capable of. Bring back hurdrex and his vampire sheep.
