Title: TV Evangelists
Post by: DREDIOCK on June 18, 2006, 08:02:21 AM
My wife had this guy on whom I cant stand.

You just look at him and you can almost see the words A-hole tattooed across his forhead

Anyway. Im changing my cloths and hearing what hes saying.
So hes tellign this story about two friends Phil and Jim.

"Phil and Jim were best friends since childhood. They did everything together.
And they joined the sevice togther. And they both joined the MARINES together. Thats how inseprabel they were.
Then, one day they were on a battlefeild in a raging battle in GERMANY"

LMAO

Like I said.. A----hole

Snark!

Wonder how many of our average Joe-Blow, non-AirSim, military history geeks realize that the Marines didn't fight in Europe during WW II?

He died in the early 70's and I was never much interested in his war service before he died and so know little about it. All I remember him telling me is that he was a Marine, was gassed in France, almost died as a result but obviously survived. I don't know if he made it to Germany or not but it was definietly the Germans that gassed him.
