When the truck is almost vertical, "powering through it" is not a good idea.

it does sound like she punched it pretty good once the front end started to come up. not so bright. if getting off the gas didnt drop it, i might have jammed it into reverse as the jeeps have a somewhat synchronized reverse... Meaning you dont have to be stopped to get it into reverse. Still, either way, sucks for her.

Fairly common in rock crawling, although that was worse than most.

I also noticed he (or she) didn't follow the directions of the spotter. The spotter called for a right turn, driver didn't comply.

Always trust your spotter.

A good lesson to learn when using heavy equipment.

Toys by troy used that video as an promo for his bolt in cage.

That jeep had his front bumper as well.

That jeep and driver finished the trail after that roll.

Go to this site and click on Tracys roll. It has the whole story.  (http://www.toysbytroy.com/)

maybe thats the word i should have said, but certainly the one i meant was the one i typed. its widely considered far less offensive than the one of the derivatives of feaces or the f word..

The Stu offroad site (the site the vid is hosted on) is an interesting site, the guy documented all the stuff he did to his jeep.

Oh, I have no intention of closing the thread.  It's getting very tiresome putting up with people who have absolutely no respect for the rules of our board.

Its a great site actually. I needed to find out how they're moving the evap canister out of the way for the round tail lights and he had a great write up on how he spaced his out to make room.

http://www.stu-offroad.com/engine/evapcan/evapcan-1.htm

That sort of extreem rock climbing never apealed to me really. Probably because if you roll its gonna hurt alot more than rolling in mud. Maybe if I had unlimited funds to build an extreem off road jeep i'd do it, and it wouldnt hurt so much.

PS- WTG on the jacking guys. I'm not surprised though. :aok

There is a jeep rental place in Moab that will rent you a lifted modified Jeep to take through Moab.

Read the rental agreement, or not. It's only money right?

just for the record skuzzy, sir, my initial post was 100% on topic. I had simply included a word that i hant realised the offensive nature of to the majority of those outside the UK.

if i may rephrase my fisrt response to this thread...

"oh my, that silly person directing the driver of the jeep leads it right up the vertical rise and then madly gesticulates to the left, far too late, as if its her fault....but then she does gun the engine and foul it up completely."

my appologies for causing your edits.
