Interesting story: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,199794,00.html
"Thankfully, it went down pretty calmly but you guys have no idea how close I was to seriously committing murder, in front of 50 police officers that might have just watched as I did it."

The freedom to be pathetic is protected in this country. And yes, its pathetic.

Sadly, I agree.
-
I like the gigantic pack of motorcyle riders who ride from funeral to funeral with american flags and hold them up to shield the families from the morons who protest and chase these poor familes around.
Truely a sick bunch of people.

I went to one of my friends funreal in Alabama. And loe and behold these idiots appeared with this antigay crap. And saying that this was GOD's way of punishing a nation.
Well being from the south. And being I was deeply angered by these people. I did what any self respecting "REDNECK" would do. I decked the leader of this group and threw him into another grave in the graveyard, that happened to be open and was to hold the body of a athiest,(News is great here) .
I then preeceded to chase the S>O>B>s away from the site before the family and body arrived. When I went to court the judge asked me"This was a case of PTSD right?" I said yes he said case dismissed to the groans of the idiots and cheers of the remainder of courtroom.
As the idiots went to leave he stopped them and informed them they were in violation of 14 state regs, 26 county, and 5 city regs. and fined them $5,000 per violation . SWEET REVENGE!!!!!
:aok

Thankfully it's a tiny minority. I just wish they'd stick to spitting on soldiers returning from war like those fanatics of the past.

Ya know it's been said many times but in case you missed it. Don't tar an entire nation based on a small group of nutjobs who have nothing better to do than hate. Don't ya just hate generalizations?
-
Keep in mind that these nutjobs are going to be used for test cases that will limit everyone's right to protest.
That could include you, if you ever have cause to object to the actions of say, President (Jesse) Jackson.
-
Here's a clue. There are already limitations in the right to protest and have been for some time. These sorry excuses for a waste of oxygen simply have found a loophole that is rapidly being closed.
-
sad thing is that alot of them are lawyers, so they know all the loopholes... i hope someday someone shows them the bullethole..
-
This happened just down the road from my town about 15 miles. (this actual event not one like it) & I made a post about it.
I will state my position again; the state of Arkansas has laws against these sort of protests, I am not sure exactly what they are, but as far as I know none of the protestors were fined or arrested.
I want my state to issue the rally permit for state capitol property only. If these moronic law breakers want to protest the federal govt. they should do it in Washington D.C. or at the very least, the state capitol!
They absolutely do not have the right to defame the dead or disturb the peace anywhere in the U.S.A., not just in my state. The families of the dead have rights too & their rights are being ignored by the local govt. Political correctness is allowing these buffoons to break the law & over-step their actual rights to gather & free speech.
BTW, for the record; Spitting on someone is assault & is illegal. Not to mention a really bad idea, if there is one thing that will bring me to physical violence without being touched, it's being spit on.

That's why I'm wishing they would do it. Attack someone not dead that can defend themself. If I ever happen to be in Kansas on a Sunday I'll be visiting that church to let them know what a bunch of cowardly morons I think they are.

I'm preparing a petition to put a referendum on the national ballot this November that would make it legal to beat the living crap out of anyone conducting such a protest at a funeral.
