Title: It's Over! Bush Won!! TY Titans!
Post by: Eagler on October 31, 2000, 02:55:00 PM
Have you heard the NFL football political scientific presidential polling study? It has been accurate for the last 15 presidential elections. If the Washington Redskins lose their last home game before the election, the party currently in power loses the Presidential race. If they win, the party stays in office.
The Tennessee Titans beat them last night, so the Democrats are out.. Bush is in !!!

It was a close game, just like the actual election  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Ya'll get a chance, check this out. It was on at 4pm EST on ESPN as I think a car race was preempted. Very informative and funny:

NFL Films Presents
Football and Politics Part 1  ESPN2 7:30 p.m. ET
Tim Russert, host of NBC's Meet the Press and Rush Limbaugh, the nationally syndicated political talk radio host, join NFL FILMS president Steve Sabol in debating the issues on the minds of voting football fans across the country in a two-part NFL FILMS Presents - Politics & Football special.

Russert and Limbaugh answer Sabol's hard-hitting questions, like, if the candidates were quarterbacks, whose style would they most resemble? Is a president more like a head coach or a quarterback? And how some of the game's legendary coaches, like Vince Lombardi, would fare as president.

It was hard to watch, but I had to give it to my Redskins for taking one for the good of the country  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
