E.g. named, noseart or something.
Diff note -
Any info on a PR-1G
ser # R7143
was supposed to be bare metal finish.
distinguishing marks - red/white/blue spinner.

Trying to find one of the 43 Squadron Spit VIIIs with something on the nose to go with the red codes with the white outlines.
As for the other bird you asked about. This must be it.
The image is identified as a squadron hack. Not sure if it in fact was a recce bird.

Notes say converted to PR VII Type G, as you know PR VII was just the later designation for the PR Ia Type G.
As it has underwing roundels I would guess the upperwing were in the standard postion as opposed to the Pink PR Mk1.
