Head's up in England!
Iced marijuana tea to debut in British health food shops
Jun 26 2:16 PM US/Eastern
British health food shops will soon be offering customers iced cannabis tea, its Swiss distributor said.
Sold under the label "C-Ice Swiss Cannabis Ice Tea", the beverage contains five percent of hemp flower syrup and a tiny (0.0015 percent) quantity of THC, the active ingredient of marijuana.
Any ingredient that could put it in the drugs category has been removed and the tea will not lead to dependency.
But British anti-drug campaigners say that selling the tea is dangerous because it will give young people the impression that cannabis is commonplace.
The product was launched in Switzerland in 2003 and is already available in Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.

I knew a guy in high school that saved up all his stems and shake to make a batch of tea. He couldn't do it in the house so he got the genius idea to let it steep in the trunk of his car for several days under the Texas summer sun. That's about as sick as I've ever seen anyone get.

British anti-drug campaigners dont seem to appreciate that cannabis is commonplace.

Anti-drug campaigners who spend any significant amount of time worrying about cannabis are complete idiots.

What you don't understand, Funked, is that Marijuana is a gateway drug and leads the unsuspecting victims to try it to other drugs like heroin, PCP, and In-n-Out burgers. That is, if they don't succum to the reefer madness first and kill their friends, their family, and then themselves.
-
Did you manage to type that with a straight face SOB?

It also makes you play mad jazz on the piano while your eyes bug out.
We used to make tea out of mushrooms... the "good kind".. and tea bags. Threw in a bunch of sugar and drank it on the rocks.
worked well.

I get a metalic taste in my mouth and my stomach does flip flops thinking about m. mushrooms.
Been there, done that, laughed alot...not going there again.:)

You can thank Hurst for that title anyway. Got to love the well founded decision making of the UK/US goverments. $$$ decision made.
The propaganda machine was invented and started by San Francisco's newspaper mongul William Hurst. Whom inflicted panic with headlines like : "Reefer Madness".

"reefer madness "...ahh, the good ol days.

Reefer Madness is one of those gateway B-Movies, that leads to harder stuff like the aforementioned "Wild in the Streets" or "Greaser's Palace."

Don't forget "Born Losers" or the rest of the Billy Jack trilogy.

Listen, children, to a story
That was written long ago,
'Bout a kingdom on a mountain
And the valley-folk below.
On the mountain was a treasure
Buried deep beneath the stone,
And the valley-people swore
They'd have it for their very own.
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after....
One tin soldier rides away.
So the people of the valley
Sent a message up the hill,
Asking for the buried treasure,
Tons of gold for which they'd kill.
Came an answer from the kingdom,
"With our brothers we will share
All the secrets of our mountain,
All the riches buried there."
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after....
One tin soldier rides away.
Now the valley cried with anger,
"Mount your horses! Draw your sword!"
And they killed the mountain-people,
So they won their just reward.
Now they stood beside the treasure,
On the mountain, dark and red.
Turned the stone and looked beneath it...
"Peace on Earth" was all it said.
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after....
One tin soldier rides away.
