Looks like HTC will soon need a special "trivia" forum (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
Who and when scored the first air-to-air victory?

Obviously an American, but I don't know when. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Captain Nesteroff killed Austrian Baron Rosenthal...
And then died himself; it was an intentional ramming.
8-September-1914
the first ARMED air victory ( (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)) happened in 5-october-1914 when Sgt pilot Frantz convinced his mechanic, caporal Quenault, to load a light MG on his Voisin observation biplane. After a long "fight" they downed a german Aviatik.

Nesterov was also the first pilot who performed a complete loop.
