Go to the Tech page and do a search for one of skuzzy's posts on what things you can disable in Windows XP/2000 that might improve performance to eek out a few extra frames per second. I'm sure you'll also find some tips on how to improve your connection as well.

Take your hand off your member, rub in on top of your head and I mean the one that is hallow. rub real fast, heard that helps get electrical things going smooth. other head just builds hairy plams. " that you already have".
other than that doesn't AF have satcom cards. If I remember right nephew used satalite card in computer got good pings, I think it was called satcom card but to much herion so not sure if i remember right. :)

Search speed isnt a function of modem speed, all search needs is the few character strings in your inquiry.....the search is done on the server, not your local computer........next excuse please :D

I'm no expert, but the one thing I'm always battling with is automatic downloads.
Turn them all off. Heck, at work where they are forced on us, I've got automatic virus, windows, microsoft office, acrobat and printer software updaters running in the background. Start trying to be productive and the computer tells you it's shutting down in 5 minutes b/c it just updated.

hehe..nah bought a new house and no cable acess yet..anyone know of any sattelite isp's or somethin?

depending on how far you are from someone with cable, you might wanna try getting a directional WIFI antenna and finding some open networks =). Works quite well if you do it right. Its a legal Grey area, so check your state laws.
