Right after a long time in the construction and lots of problems, I have finally created my first skin! The C-47 Military Air Transport Command. Id appreaciate any comments on it.

culd realy do with a closer up shot,but fm what i cansee  the star and bar  on the ide is too big  abd joining  at the top,for  a frst skinit looks  good  mine looked crap my first 30 or so attemps.

   if you enjoy  skining  ty  one of the pdated  planes   which dont have  all the stretching  and mirroring problems

Thats about as close as I can get in the game. As for the star, I shall endevour to shrink it a bit. Its kinda hard as I swipped it straight from the B26 skin! Glad you think its ok.

Looks to be a postwar scheme too with the red line added to the star and bar.  Looks like one based in Alaska or doing arctic runs.

The postwar skins won't make it in game.

Offline, hit F3 then hit F8 then use the [ ] keys to zoom and the key pad to move around and you can get alot closer.  Also use shift Z (I think) to zoom in and get rid of the fish eye look.

in the game  when in f3 mode  hit z  for zoomthen use [  ]  to zoom in closer,thn ue f8  and the numbers pad  to pan around the skin so you can get  a good view.

its  a good first attempt but if you want to make one for the game it has to be war time scheme.

 one thing  to remember if you are stuck about some thing  please ask,i kow the guys on here are always willing to help and share ideas  and some of there secrets.

I dont really want to submit it. It was just a thing to play around on in Offline mode. Glad you guys like it though. I might add rivets but depends how I feel.
