Fabulous pictures. One of the reasons I became a pilot was the hope that one day I would get to fly that high in something as cool as a U2. But all I get to fly are little puddle jumpers and the highest I ever got to fly with me at the controls was 13,000 feet. Sigh:cry Oh well!

Can anyone make out what region of the world is being photographed?

Leaving Teterhole...err...Teterboro.
Little ice on the windshield really playing havoc with my camera phone. Wish I had a better digital camera...but I don't. Birthday is on the 18th of July so I'll keep my fingers crossed :)

I've been just over halfway to 80,000'. We had a 2-1/2 hour leg in the Encore and I begged our way up to FL450 once for kicks. When it got there we burned hardly any fuel and caught a nice tailwind yielding a 500+kt groundspeed...the fastest I've flown while in control :)
