Ok how much horsepower does my Grandpa's 1980 Roper(brand) Tractor have? And can you guess how much horsepower it had after he "worked" on it?

Jim you are close. When he bought it, it had a 16HP engine in it. However my Grandaddy was an ingenious man. After tinkering with it, he got about 18-19.5 HP out of it. To this day, 20 years later, it's still the fastest tractor in the town, and it cuts the grass REALLY well to.  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
