-
My freind in Seoul told me about a South Korean protestor he saw, who cut off a finger to protest the possiblity of South Korea loseing that island that Japan wants too. Forget the name of the island off hand..... But THAT is 'hardcore'
-
The only thing I would worry about in invading North Korea would be the number of people you would be fighting. But that's nothing compared to true power.
Anyway, I have heard some interesting stories about the South Korean special forces that were with us in Vietnam.

No, that's just ****in' stupid. It'd be so much easier to just burn a flag.

WTF!!! im REALLY hoping i saw it wrong BUT, was that a german shepard running under a tank with explosives strapped on and then ....blowing up!?
dont get me wrong here im no PETA type but...DAMN not the dogs!! especially in just a "training" exercise :cry
If they REALLY wanna impress folks let em tie the bombs around THEIR necks and run up under a tank and go KABOOOM.
Maybe we can cut out that portion of the video and send it to PETA and let THEM go after N.Korea :aok
Seriously tho. They do some awsome stuff in them propaganda films really cool BUT a few things should be considered
A. i saw a guy dodging knives woopee! when they dodge bullets ill worry
B. I saw a guy drive a nail in a board...impressive! flip it over and drive it back out OR pull the nail out with his teeth, then ill worry
C. Chicks kicking serious buttocks ....mmmm tough asian chicks...need i say more?
D. One guy kicking the crap outta a bunch of other guys...yeah i can see a platoon of marines just waiting their turn to be kicked in the nads...NOT!!
E. chicks opening bottels using that chopping hand thingy....Im sure the marines will find this useful during R&R after will smack em down
F.Kim jerk riding into the sunset on a white stallion....poor horse! seriously tho its good he is practicing running away on horseback cause if it did happen he would probably do that and the only thing left would probably be a horse...porr horse!
G. Aint propaganda films from ebil lands fun to watch?

Liancourt comes to mind, not sure if thats the only one disputed between them.
I seriously wouldnt want to mess with S. Korean Marines. Those guys take hardcore to new heights.
-
See, what I've heard is that the S.Korea specops guys aren't hardcore, but extremely nasty.
-
Their recruiting films are WAAAY better than ours. We get to see some guy sitting in a chair looking at a computer, but those guys get to do karate chops and stuff. No karate chops in the back of an AWACS...
-
Notice the dear leader giving pistol marksmanship pointers :)
North Koreans aren't any tougher than South Koreans. I think breaking bottles with hands is a pretty standard test in korean martial arts. Kuk sool won is a south korean style, If I recall correctly you have to break a bottle that is standing unsuported to get your blue belt.
-
Reminds me of propaganda films that Japan produced before WW2 ...
-
Also it should be noted, theres one thing that video cannot convey. Kimchi breath.
No korean will ever be able to sneak up on, or hide from an american.
-
Hasn't anyone told these guys? It's not how tough your soldiers are anymore. It's who has the most firepower. The Iraqi army found out the hard way. Until they learn to deflect 30 mm uranium depleted rounds or LGB's with their head. It will still end the same way. Splat!
-
I have seen a lot communist propaganda films, the Russian spetsnaz are some tough hombres, as well as several other of the special forces from ex-communist Europe, I recall one tale a friend of mine told me about some Polish spec-war men he encountered, nice guys....but I wouldn't want to be the odd man out in one of their wet-ops.
Of course I'll put my money on a U.S. Navy man, or Marine. ( I always viewed them as Navy men, the Marines always get touchy about that; I gotta tell ya, being called squiddy or squid boy isn't really that hurtful fellows. );)

No way they cound beat the USA armed forces.
but they could make a fortune making Jackie Chan type movies LOL
