Anyone else notice the helldiver threads disappeared? Is he gone for good?
-
Dang you, furball..
I stared at that picture thinking.. what the heck is that thing?
Nose of a spitfire.. intake of a tempest.. tail of a ..a .. hurricane, maybe? but.. but.. the horizontal stabilizers are squared? and the wings.. look like something of a US naval bird.. with slight inverted gull wing like the Vindicator..but clipped like the wildcat.
I was convinced you had photoshopped that thing..
Until I did a search on 'Miles Master'
One... (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miles_Master)
Two... (http://www.constable.ca/MilesMaster.htm)
Then this thing.. which made me read about the different engines.. (http://www.jaapteeuwen.com/ww2aircraft/html%20pages/MILES%20MASTER.htm)
Ok.. I learned something.
Thank you.

it was the RAF's advanced trainer. I needed something to wish to make the post relevant in this forum, that was the first plane to come to mind!

Thats the Miles M.20 i believe? the emergency fighter which could go into rapid production should the RAF have lost all of their Spitfires and Hurricanes.

Hmm looks like if they put retractable gear on this ... It'd be nice little plane.
