Post your favorite screenshots or other pictures relating to aircraft. Any pictures you post here may be used by anyone. If you would like people not to re-use them, say "I would like people not to re-use these pictures without my consent", and if that is posted above someones pictures, please treat it like a copyright. Anyone may re-use my pictures, so long as you say who the pilot was (Me). Heres mine:

Incredweeble BatFink ! ;)

Just to clear something up, I don't actually own the painting that picture comes from. I have a limited edition print of that painting signed by E. Hartmann and J. Crandall, the artist. But yes, it is beautiful.
Straffo "1'm L337 ! ,1'v3 h4ck3d 127.0.0.1 11!" LMAO, bud, that is some funny **** right there!
My contribution:

Another great shot. And are there any more of those prints for sale? Preferably not signed, that way i can afford one.
-
Héhé Diablo ;) I'll narrate the story behind one day ,meanwhile :
One ping to rule them all
Three pings for the BSDs under the sky,
Many for UNIX-es in their halls of stone,
Rest for the other systems doomed to die,
One ping for the Dark Windows on his dark throne
In the land of Redmond, where the shadows lie.
One ping to rule them all, one ping to find them all,
One ping to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the land of Redmond, where the shadows lie.
-
Um, lovely. Do you have any nice pictures? (Aircraft preferably, but tanks and boats are allowed too)

Take screenshots in game with ALT_S - be warned though, it might cause a little screen freeze. The pic is stored as ahss##.bmp file in your HTC/Aces High II folder. You can view/edit it with any graphics viewing/editing software.
Most people take screenshots off the films though. ALT_R starts recording in game. Films will be stored as film#.ahf in your HTC/Aces High II/films folder - view them with the film viewer ahfilm.exe in the games root folder (Or access it through start menu). To take a screenie off a film, run the film to the point you want it, pause it, adjust viepoints etc and click on FULL SCREEN. Then use the Printscreen key and paste the image into any pic editing software.
-
Wow, schatzi, i didnt know you could do that! Nice to know!

-
Paste it into MSPaint. Ctrl-V
-
ok second now how do put the picture in lol im a retard.
-
Upload it to a website and use the "IMG" button to link to it.
-
god why do they half to make it so freaking confising i dont even have a website.
-
Use the Picture Hanger. There's a sticky on this forum about it.
-
(http://www.onpoi.net/ah/pics/users/998_1153546498_ahlogo.jpg)
-
Replace that "url" tag with an "img" tag and you got it. Also, the last "img" needs to have a / in front of it.
(img) and (/img) except with brackets.
-

Old School formation flying.

Beautiful formations. How do you do the black-and-white effects?
-
Some 68th formation action. 68KO leading, 68Outlaw and I on his right, and 68slayr on his left.
And for black and white, I think you have to desaturate the picture in a program like Photoshop.
-
Anyone know any free programs that can make pictures black and white? And no, MSPaint doesnt work, it turns it all black.
-
reynolds do u have "hewit packard image zone" that ol do it.
-
if u ho enough you may get to see this(http://
dont ask me what i was goin for, i just didnt want the img to be default colors.
-
How do you get that glow effect near bright areas?
-
Ooh! Watch me use my mind tricks... that is a... 109... i gotta say G6 or F4, because I know you have 20mm, that isnt a K4... not a G2, and the F and G6 are the only ones I havnt spent a lot of time in. Is Hewlet Packard Image standard? Where on my computer would I find it?
-
Thats a G2 or F4, no G6 or G14 ever built had 1712 MG rounds crammed into that nose. :)
-
i use a soft glow effect with HP image zone, and its the E4 model wit all those .303's
to find image zone i generally click on an image, right click it an "open with" HP image zone.
-

Your kidding! The frame looked like an E, but I didnt recognise that switch on the left! And where in my computer can I find that HP program?
-
Try Irfanview. It's free and it can do alot of things. I know it can convert to black and white, but I'm not sure about any other effects. It's worth a try anyway.
Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/)
EDIT: Just played with it for a few minutes. It has several default filters, but you can download more off of the website. And it also has the standard image adjustment tools (brightness/contrast, color balance, etc.).
-
lol. Yet again, the 68th to the rescue! Great stuff, thanks man!
-
No problem. I do what I can.

Followed by waking up in a cold sweat and crying uncontrollably...
-
Ive had one of those dreams. A lot actually. I was in a 109E being BnZed by a Pony D, and I knew it was a dream because I actually won! ;)
But see? That 109 looks SO ominous. I wish I was a good enough pilot that I could strike fear into people like that. I think the fact that its a 109 adds to that. If I imagine it as a 109 with a Spit behind it, its not nearly so scary... I dont get it... I SUCK :cry

-
go into fil viewr and go into the full screen view
now when u find yer pic hit the PrtScreen button or if yer using Fraps i think it's F9
-
To clarify, after you press PrtSc, open up MS paint, or whatever you use to edit pictures, and Edit Paste it in there. Fraps is easier.

Saturday when we were flying gliders, we dedicated the whole day to throwing rolls of toilet paper out of an open window (Yes, our 233s have windows) and trying to make it completely unroll, before we hit it in mid-air with our wings to try to cut it. Turns out they fall way too fast from 2,800 feet. I do have a great picture of the toilet paper falling though, as seen from the cockpit. Ill try to get it uploaded for you all.

A fighter Pilot's wet dream. Thats right, two Ar-234s, heading to the same base, un-escorted.

And of course, when we arrived at the target, there were 2 La-7s, a Tempest, two 109s, and, my worst fear, an Me-262. My heart really did skip a beat. Nonetheless, in true warrior fashion my wingman and I just nosed down. He got behind us. We just kept on into the target. He was getting closer.... "keep going, the target is more important than any two pilots"... "bombs away"... "Break!"... "Hes on me!" and he dove in at me. I went into external. "D1.0k..." "D900..." "D800..." "D700..." "D600..." "FIRE!!!!!!" Spraying shots blindly behind me, all I could do was pray... *click-hiss* :Im out of ammo!!!" and as the smoke cleared, I saw it. The 262 falling fast, his left wing 2.5k above him. "Hes down! 262 is DOWN!!!" "Great job!" "Coming in on final approach... shiesse..." and a 109 came in on us, nearly waxed us, but we got some support in the form of fighter cover back at base, and we landed it. That was my 5th i beleive flight in a 234, but only my first ever kill with those tail guns, and I got a 262.
Great fight VansCrew, you scared the **** outa me!

LOL!!! Heres some of one of the times I tried a 109E in the old MA. These ARE combat images, and that P-51 IS an enemy. They are from the same second, just two different views. I had come out of a straight vertical climb, and we are both stalling. I had just shredded an enemy P-51, right after he killed one of my guys. My guy in the 110 can be seen right above my right horizontal stabalizer.
From the outside:

From inside the P-51's cockpit:

This ended with him falling on top of me, and taking a wing off. He survived, somehow, and I turned into a rocket.
Here is a cartoon version of the first one:

Alright, here are some of my flights today. All of these pictures are taken at my home field, Dillingham Airfield, in Hawaii (It was a particularly rainy day though). First up is our insane local jump-pilot (We share the airfield with two parachuting companies, and one of their pilots insists on a 'Low Pass' in his King Air at least once a week, regardless of what the 'Tower' -Unicom- says) The plane is actually less than 4 feet above the ground, but because of my angle, it looks much higher.

Here are two pictures of my instructors 'Baby', an incredibly rare, and unbeleiveably high performance glider, a 'Fox' (There are only 12 in the United States)
My instructor has already purchased, and plans to affix next month, two Turbo-Jet Engines to the sides of this aircraft! Here is a side view:

Here is my favorite aircraft of the three I train in, a Schweizer SGS2-33A:

Here is me flying (Not quite a solo, I still had an instructor, but he didnt doa nything but throw toilet paper out of the window, I was flying all on my own, including take-off and landing), first the take-off (Towed by a Mercedes Benz sedan!)

And last, the landing (That concrete in the back is part of a world war two hard-stand that housed both bombers, B-24 Liberators and B-17E Flying Fortresses, and fighters, P-40s and P-51s) :
