Title: Ink jet gibberish
Post by: Suave on July 04, 2006, 06:55:45 AM
Recently whenever I try to print even the smallest document my printer starts printing out pages of gibberish; pages of text consisting of weird characters not in my alphabet.

I read that this is usually a sign of a bad printer cable. Why would a printer cable suddenly be "bad"?

Never heard of a bad cable causing this. Sounds more like a corrupted printer driver to me.

could also be corrupt printer drivers, or bad memory in the printer
