As you were.

    I can see my counter-part has opened a thread calling for the best bomber pilots to serve the Emperor. We all know the BEST will want to serve in the US Navy!

    What we are discussing is the upcoming scenario Operation Downfall.
 See the Events Forum for info. The US Navy will have a massive armada to attack Japan with.  I will need pilots who are good, as well as who can attend the frames. Fighters, Bombers, fleet defense types.  Go register today and jump on with the team for the big win!

Yep, F4U-4s are available.  Navy gets F4U-1D/Cs, F4U-4, F6F-5, and FM2 for fighters.

you are currently being sued for false advertisement, you dont need more pilots. and you have advertised that you do need them.:rofl

Nope, just the late model Corsairs.  The F4U-1 was not a stable carrier aircraft.  Most of them were used as land based fighters.  Plus, this is "taking place" in late 1945, they wouldnt use early virsions anyways, it would be like using a P-47D11.  No reason too! :aok
