Really impressive, even if the name let me a little bit bewildered :O , but I'm so conservative
But, it is just completed?? In case I'll give it a look, at the end of july, on my London trip.
-
A fantastic arena for French football.
-
virtually completed, first game there is July 22nd for Dennis Bergkamp's testimonial. very much doubt you will get access to it, but can see it from the outside. It is right next to Arsenal underground station.

not many french players in the Arsenal team anymore. first choice XI there is only Henry.

I saw of the match on the web page, and was just mouthwatering:D
I saw tickets remaining after purchase by membership card owners will be on sale by 10th july, but I doubt to have any chance.
-
when do we get to see soccer fans trample people and burn the place?
-
Will it be used for Rugby Union matches as well?

I agree, i doubt very much you will get tickets. Unless you buy them off a tout outside the ground before the game. They are limiting the capacity to something like 50,000 for that game for safety checks too.

Definitely not! Arsenal didn't build a £400m stadium, and god knows what developing a new type of grass for the perfect pitch, for a load of rugger buggers to go and trample it while 'egg chasing'!

:lol Rugger buggers? Egg chasing? You are killer Furball. You'll have to escuse my being American, feel free to make fun of funny Americanized words.
-
rugby ball is shaped like an egg. playing rugby = egg chasing. (it is a derogatory term about rugby)
rugger = rugby
buggers (buggery) = sodomy
-
Buggery = Rum, bum, and then the lash :D

Sorry no offense meant. I'm not an English Football fan , but have been a Rugby fan since I saw my first Rugby match at RAF Lossiemouth in 1982. Enjoy your new stadium. We're still about two years away from a new Dallas Cowboy stadium. I'll be as excited about it as you are for The Arsenals new home.

Very pretty, though i think the best ever stadium is Home Park, Plymouth argyle's stadium before it was redeveloped. Why? because the away fans end was uncovered and standing. I had many a laugh at the away fans shivering in a 6 force gale, getting soaked in the pouring rain.
2 years and Wenger will be England manager, i don't have much confidence in Mclaren, he'll be out after euro 2008 (assuming he can get england to qualify).

Where's all the throwing stuff?
You Bloody Hell can't have a football match there.... without throwing stuff!!!
Gotta admit the Red seats are nice... covers up the blood and I'm already pisssed before the game starts.
Where's the throwing chit? Are the seats detactable?
:huh

American football could learn from this stadium. PADDED seats. Of course, some men will look at you funny for mentioning the fabric covering but....
