Cus I want to prove my point.
Meaning it was/is difficult to fly warbirds and even warbirds which are multiengined. Not like Easymoders High :D
Or People don't want to be reminded that their uber skills are nothing and the cartoonish modeling does it all for them .
-
That video has nothing to do with the game we play. I dont get how some people just complain constantly and seem to be totally miserable yet they still continue playing. Its amazing.
-
Glasses did you get owned by a P-38 again?
-
No but this guy got owned by the ground :D
Which BTW the guy was flying a Clean warbird with little fuel!
in AH P-38s can pull tight turns even with bombs attached.

dude, comments like that are uncalled for. I'd PNG ya if I had the power. BTW nice edit.
-
What did you see in the film that would indicate it is hard to roll a P-38?
What you saw was just pilot error.

Pretty tasteless, wtg.
-
Exactly meaning he effed up while flying the warbird, it took a lot of skill to fly and fight effectively even for a seasoned pilot like he was caused him to die and not only destroyed himself, and the pricesless aircraft but three other aircraft aswell.
I never stated it was hard to roll it but I did see he started with a fair amount of altitude and kept rolling and couldn't pull up while rolling in and well you saw what happened.
-
That's two Glasses, and you have proved nothing other than you are the lowest of scum. Try reading the report on the crash. You truly are a common lowlife piece of crap.

He got his kneeboard and the yoke tied up stupid ass. Read the freaking report. You don't even know what you are talking about, yet you repeatedly post the link to the film, trying to prove a point you can't prove.
-
And I speak for all the BKs how? Post one thread were I make light of the deaths of people. I'm not the care taker of the rest of the guys, nor them me.

I have yet to see anyone but you post smilies and gloat over the death of a pilot and the loss of a priceless warbird.
The point you have proven is that you are a piece of subhuman garbage.
But keep trying, so you can prove to everyone what most of us know already.
-
LoL I say it again it's only priceless when it doesn't have a Black Cross in it right?
LoL Virgil don't make me laugh...again. Talking about subhuman dude clean your gene pool before trying to "cleanse" mine, you know like a family tree that grows branches and all? . Which btw those comments sound very "Nazi" like.

Just what was his alt when he began the roll?
How fast was he going?
You link shows absolutely nothing that relates to the difficulty of flying a P-38 either in RL or in the game.
Pilot errors in judgement alone have resulted in losses of everything from a Piper Cub to warbirds to jet fighters to a 747. The difficulty of flying the aircraft is pretty much immaterial in a lot of the cases.
Your link does prove one thing but that relates to you, not flying.
-
Is it anymore tasteless than posting 109/190 pilots or even Japanese pilots getting shotup and dying, is it anymore tasteless than watching cities burned to the ground and citizens being incinerated?
Again it's being a hypocrite.
-
Again, you're saying much more about yourself than you are about the P-38 or AH.
When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.
-
I proved my point. :D
-
For me it wasn't what you posted as much as your comments. Old war footage is just as bad as what you posted but most of the time it's presented in a mature fashion. You basically made light of peoples deaths for what purpose?
-

An excruciatingly tasteless comment. In case you failed to understand, this is what gets up people's noses - at least it got up mine. It seems to me you have very little understanding of the difference between death and 'virtual death'. Get a grip kid.

Ah, The Drama.
Everyone nowdays is so touchy about everything in this ridiculous sense of 'moral' consciousness.
As far as I can see, Glasses is not making 'fun' of the situation, He just wanted to establish a simple point, which as I can see seems to be the 'difficulty' of flying a 'warbird'.
And as unfortunate as the incident was, it in fact, happened. Past tense. Many die every day, and it just is, death, natural. Glasses is just taking the unfortunate event as an example to make a pretty simple point.
Just let it go, death happens. In this case it's being discussed by a stranger to indulge in an argument...
Godsakes... a freaking drama for everything.
-
AHHH heck might as well say it:

Heh. I feel insulted for having being denied my existance. He's a friend yes. But I'm not him.
He suggested me to read the thread and give out my 2 cents. I used to play a long while ago. Cptjack was my callsign actually.
Want more evidence?... tough luck...
-
guess someone came outta retirement just to post in this thread...well welcome back "captjack", or welcome even if you new. you picked a good one to post in if it's your first thread.
-
You have no point.
If you knew anything about the accident you'd know this was part of a very successful airshow routine. The guy probably flew his show a hundred times without incident. This time he made a fatal pilot error.
Again, it says NOTHING about the difficulty of flying a P-38.
But the whole thread says a lot about you.

I'll say it again, I don't rejoice in the death of a man or the loss of a plane. What you linked to was not war, it was an airshow. Show me anyone here who has rejoiced in the death of an air show pilot or the loss of a plane. Well, except for YOU.
I have no desire to cleanse anything, and as much of a piece of scum as you are, I surely have no desire to get close enough to you to cleanse anything. Oh, and by the way, it was a nice touch how you tried to drag family into this and sling the "Nazi" label.
Keep digging Glasses, I'm sure someone from HTC will be here soon enough, and they'll take care of you and your hole.

hAAAAAAAAAAARRR!!!!!!

Haha, I just had a 'mild' laugh. People are too serious and touchy about certain topics.
Arguments should be fought with facts and the topic at hand, not subjectivity.
Down with the Taboos!
And well, back to the 'touchy' item at hand. The pilot may have been a real person, but he flew that bird like a gambling player on a sim. It's really sad.
But at least he went down much better than the regular person/civilian who loses their life by a lost bullet at the streets.
(Or having some sort of strange object driven into their bodies through sexual means and dying of a hemorrhage) So a toast for the brave gambler out there!

Aw c'mon, dragging me into the pointless battle? Fine fine... I'll just throw something in my defense:
I may NOT know about that. But I know a flawed argument when I see one.

Yeah, I saw your flawed argument right off. Nice of you to admit it though.

Furthermore, Toad, My point has not being related to the details of the 'video', moreso to the lingering on the 'death' topic. But hey! Whatever flows in your river...
I may be wrong, you may be right. But I'm sure you're a great guy. ;)

There's your flaw. You admit you know nothing of Proudfoot or the accident but you were eager to take your "facts" and discuss the "topic" at hand.
Big flaw to try to take facts you don't have to the topic at hand.

So... I posted for the thrill and enjoyment of... having attention *wipes single tear* :)

Yeap. I admit I didn't know it was an airshow. As soon as I was informed by a more knowledgable person... I replied accordingly with something like 'Ah, figured'...
But yeah. whatever you say fits in pretty well.

Waaait... I know, I'm Glasses alter Ego, 'laidback' cptjack. That's it!

Honestly, what just happened when I was gone for a bit?
Glasses, are you trying to point out something to HTC based on an airshow accident? I don't see any other information you posted so I'm going to assume that you're this redheaded kid with a stick and a desire to hit a beehive a few times.
You could have saved yourself the negative light and the impending disownment by whatever peers you have left by just not posting the video with your snide commentary. GTFO

I didnt see any more info on it on my first look. I think mabe mech or G probs neither of those are issues in ah. My condolences to the family.

The accident was likely caused by the pilot's kneeboard getting tied up with the yoke. At least that was the conclusion reached in the report I read.
The routine that was performed that day was performed repeatedly, and included ONE roll. The second roll was not part of the normal routine. It had nothing to do with the plane, or its handling characteristics.

Besides I think most of my threads are considered a non threat to HTC or their bussiness they delete my thread but they don't kick me out you need people like me in AH so it means something inside game when you get your kills in the uberfied arcade FM cartoon planes :D

And what point was that other than pointing out he's just a typical Luftwhiner? In case you didn't know, that crash in that video had nothing to do with how difficult it is to fly a warbird. It was unfortunate pilot error that resulted when the pilot's kneeboard got caught in the yoke. But then, considering you're one of Glasses' friends, it's not hard for you not to see the actual point.

Exactly Toad, that was pilot error, had nothing to do with how easy or hard it is to fly a 38. That poor pilot would have killed himself if he had flown that in any plane. Frankly that video turned my stomach:cry :cry :(

Geesh, Glasses, What a complete lowlife road to take in an already Whine-ridden loser "argument". Down here in the south we'd catch you out and "learn" you some manners for this kind of behavior. The guy gave his life for the sole purpose of keeping alive the legacy of those who sacrificed theirs in WW2. I don't know why you keep whining about how German planes are porked in AH, all I ever see you do in them is run! If you learned more vert acm's, maybe you wouldn't get outflown by every newb in a jug, pony, or lightning.
-
Been nice knowing ya, Glasses... It seems you may set the record for most PING's for one week...
I don't believe you understand the brotherhood that pilots share... Because if you did, you never would've said the things you did... It's easy to sit behind a computer screen and say that someone got pwned by the ground, where "lives are free and planes are, too." (to quote Delirium)
However, it's something COMPLETELY different to say that about a real plane crash, a real life lost, a real husband, father, son, brother, etc. lost... To be so classless, whether this was a troll or not, takes a certain level of ineptitude.
Next time, if there is one, I hope you think before you type, and I hope you never say something so hurtful about one of my brothers ever again.

See Rule #7

p38s can turn well. i dont think that was a pilot error my reasons are because when he went into the roll he had time to baraly pull out. yet he didnt. the reason why he didnt was maybe cause of a problem with the plane not the pilot. people just dont do another roll right into the ground.
-
Glasses that's tasteless garbage you're pulling.

Yeah, well, he is invading lots of posts that have nothing to do with him. I have a thread that states in the tital its only about 109s, and hes posts "Aw man, they deleted my P38 video", and goes on about his video and P38s!!! ITs a 109 thread!!! He just needs to get his head out his arse, and stop bothering the rest of us.

Your a real piece of dirt glasses... Have you ever actually piloted an aircraft??? And no, cartoon fighter planes dont count...Atleast this man spent his life in a worthy cause, and fufilled his own dreams, as well as the dreams of hundreds of thousands of spectators that he entertained...
He took the risk of "getting owned by the ground", (as you so cynically said) to educate and entertain countless groups of people with a piece of rare military equipment...Thats a lot more then I can say about you, sitting behind your computer flying cartoon airplanes and somehow thinking your opinion is legitimate... I usually try to stay away from these kinds of posts, but glasses' disregard for another's life kept me reading. If anything that video shows how accurate HTCs modelling is, many times I've snap rolled low to the ground and crashed in the same fashion. But Glasses is too hard headed to accept anything but his own "facts." And now to prove his definition of the truth, he stoops low enough to try to joke about this guy's death. The picture he posted with a rabbit is even more disgusting. I also thought the video itself was in poor taste, not because of the crashes, but how they were presented. I personally will be displeased with HTC if Glasses does not recieve the Persona Non Grata.
-
Quick question, what IS the persona non grata?

Glasses please consider your post for a minute.
You post a film of a man dying while performing for a family event.
The intent of your post is to compare it with this GAME.
U make a cruel remark about the gentleman who lost his life.

"Crap. What can harp endlessly about now? Hmmmmm......if the LW planes are good now, maybe I'll say the US planes are TOO good! Yeah, that's the ticket...."
No flight model point can be made about a pilot error accident, Glasses. Personally, I too hope there's a PNG in your future.
