Ok I was reading the other thread a bit but, well, nevermind that...
In it I saw that if I receive an oil leak, radiator or other damage, I should .ef.
My question is (supposing I am NOT in the last two):
Should I .ef as SOON as I receive the oil leak, radiator, etc.,
OR
Can I continue until I run out of oil, engine seizes, etc.
Furthermore, what is the stance on engine fire? .Ef immediately, or continue until I blow up?
I've always been a bit hazy on this and in a past KOTH I attended I was on fire, shot down Mane, and then blew up, and didn't hear any complaints. However, I get the impression that this might not be the case any more.
I'm trying to make it there for the latter part tomorrow (gonna be in SC for the 15th's one), and since i won't be there for the beginning law laydown, I figured I'd ask ahead of time.
Likewise, what's the cap alt these days?

As long as your engine is still running and you are in *controlled* flight.... youre OK.
Alt CAP is 6K, youll notice immediatly when you get above it, as there is a strong upwind. Youll have trouble coming back down.

Schatzi is 2 for 2.
You need to be in powered and controlled flight. Pilot wounds and burning planes are AOK. If you have wing or control parts missing, ranging from an aileron to half a wing or more, as long as you can maneuver and engage people you are OK also.
Alt cap is 6k and the distance boundry is the canyon walls on the new map.
NOTE- if you haven't flown a KOTH in awhile make sure you check and see if you see icons inflight as there is a problem with them on the KOTH map.

As per the icons... If in fact I don't see them, how do I fix that? Relog?

Yes, the fix for the "see absolutely NO inflight icons" problem is to exit Aces High completely to desktop and then re-start AH and go to SEA directly.
