Florabamma was damaged but still stands.  Don't know if it's currently open or not though.  

Killed lots of brain cells during Naval Flight Training there in 88-89...:):)

Yeah I am. Buddy of mine, his 2 sons, and his parents are going on the 29th for the day.

there's usually a decent contigent of AH people there. last year I met up with 3 or 4 of the CAF guys and a bunch of the 327th, KOOL and others. i think total there was about 20+ AH and their families total.

We go to destin with some regularity there 88.  Where's that place?  I've usually gone left out of the airport to the end of the road.  There's a subway and a diner across the street.  Don't know road names.

That's about all I know about destin :)

The Florabama was probably 75% knocked down, but they have rebuilt some of it. They opened the back boardwalk almost right away.

88, I could be there in an hour or so. :)

JB88, if your serious I will be there with a few friends ;) I live in Crestview and can be there in 30 minutes.

Florabama is now open and rocking. I was there last weekend on my way to Bilouxi. Took the ferry across Mobile Bay, about 10 bikes.

Cocodries on Navare beach is also rockin this summer. Sundays is Biker day with reserved parking and good eats!

JB88 you work at destin chops? Who do I ask for?

See now if you made that offer a few months ago. I was This ----> <---- close to being there.

Had a buisness trip planned in Naples where I was going to swing enroute to the PC area to meet up with someone I know. But it was called off at the last minute:furious:furious
