Post by: red26 on July 07, 2006, 03:42:32 PM: I was just given a copy of a game called warbirds and as I was out flying around I noticed the name on a B-17 I think was HITECH and there was anouther plane that had Pyro on it. is this the same guys that made the game AH??? Just wondering??:aok

So I took it home and it works on my computer fine but if my buddy gets a copy can we dule each outher??

Hitech and Pyro designed and produced Warbirds. Once it was up and running there was a corporate shake-up which prompted HT and Pyro to go off and design thier' own WW2 Air sim. Since then, AH is doing very well and Warbirds is doing not so well. Life in the jungle is tough. :D

1. you both need to download the ah 1.114 game ( the one were he says its the favorite game blah blah blah ) on each of your computers

2. you Both need to download the maps

3. - you need to set up a lan

4. one of you "hosts " the room

5. - you auger a lot

Then a LAN partner is great! Then activate your 2 week trial. And you will be hooked :)

Do a Google search and you'll find your answer. I'd tell you if I knew the specifics.

You need to connect your computers in a local network (so you can have access to each others computers/HDD. How to do this depends on your OS and your modem/router/type of connect. BEst is to do as Max told you. Google it and maybe read the help file of you OS regarding networks to find out how to set up a LAN... or maybe ask your Dad/Mom.

When both PCs can communicate, ya need to install both a copy of AH1.

Then, when starting the game, i suspect you can select H2H (Free Multiplayer) and choose between online hosting (does NOT work anymore) and LAN game. One needs to host a LAN game, the other one got to join it.
