Title: Wings over Pittsburgh
Post by: Golfer on July 08, 2006, 05:52:39 PM
Anybody go today?  Anyone going tomorrow?

Angels put on a good show, Sean Tucker was awesome as usual and the price of admission/parking was right (free!)

The wife and I went yesterday Golfer, and your right about Sean Tucker. He was simply amazing.

There is nothing like experiencing a high speed pass from 4 jets at 500 ft.

Have some short vids. I have not downloaded them yet, so I don't know the quality. If there worth anything, I'll post them

Did they rebuild the wreck, mars?

Looked like the challenger of old.  A few things different than in the video in my signature but the vid link in my sig is basically the first half of the show he did on saturday.

I could've done without all the performers blessing america on the radio...just fly the friggin airplane!

He was flying a Lancair or something for a while while he got up to speed with his back up plane.  How cool is it to have a back up plane LOL.

Anyway I was at the Jones Beach NYC  show and he was still in the plane he flew at sun and fun the Lancair.  A loop a roll, it was too bad.

Ahhh nice I just watched the Vid, cool - lucky bastig :aok

There was a Lancair Columbia 400 on the line with numerous stickers for sponsors.  Wasn't close enough to it to see any names.  Maybe trucked out the Pitts and flew in with the Lancair?

Sure wish I had a Lancair to tool around in.

That video is from the 2003 Dayton airshow.
