Hey Ridley...why the long face?
-
A horse is a horse, of course, of course,
And no one can talk to a horse of course
That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mr. Ed.
Go right to the source and ask the horse
He'll give you the answer that you'll endorse.
He's always on a steady course.
Talk to Mr. Ed.
People yakkity yak a streak and waste your time of day
But Mister Ed will never speak unless he has something to say.
A horse is a horse, of course, of course,
And this one'll talk 'til his voice is hoarse.
You never heard of a talking horse?
Well listen to this. I am Mister Ed.
PS: I used to go through Norval all the time on my way to Forks of the Credit!

Used to drive to the Forks to hang out on the weekends...there is an old abandoned power station there, and if you climb down to the waters edge there are big rocks in the middle of the river where people would party etc...or you could walk along the tracks for miles in either direction...cross over the bridge etc.
Hockley Valley is amazing...we used to go there annually for my cub/scout troop camping trips...you're right a fantastic area. (still drive past it on the way to Collingwood or Wasaga)
I can remember when I was about 16 there was a campground in Norval on the south side of 7 just before you enter Georgetown (if travelling west)...went camping there with the YMCA too.
My favourite area is still Algonquin Park:

wow, man...you haven't been up there in a while......I used to party there all the time, too.
It's a provincial park now....walkways and chain link and the whole nine yards.
You know that rock overhang on the canyon wall downstream of the old plant?
Crack a beer open there now..? Ain't no way that's gonna happen again. Legally, anyway. But then again....it weren't legal back then either...was it?
By the by....I'm 45 now...ya never know..may have partied up there together without knowing it.

Really...... You might want to get her some glasses or something. I've never seen a pencil that looks like your avatar.
