AH2 Screenshot July 9, 2006

A simple screenshot I took while driving an M-8
trying to get to an enemy base..until a down pilot fired at me.

I was trying to find out how to walk..and could not, so I went and help him.
Then some plane went looking for us and wiped us both out of the map. lol.

Walking uses the same keys as most FPS games out there.
E=forward
S=turn left
D=backward
F=turn right
R=run forward

At least it was that way in 2.07.  It's been a while since I tried it.

I dont think that works Auger... besides, AH2 is not exactly a "FPS" game ;).


AFAIK, you need to map the Chute keys (OPTIONS > CONTROLER > Map Keyboard). Map walk/run and fire weapon to free keys. then, after bail, use JS to turn, mapped key to run/fire.

Whoops, my bad.  I ran around in the AvA for a couple minutes after one of many silk rides.  The keys are actually:
W=forwad
X=backward
R=run
Q=strafe left
E=strafe right
Joystick left and right to turn.
F or joystick button 1 to fire the pistol.

I haven't actually mapped these.  They were just there.

Joystick also moves foreward and backward, i think

That SS reminds me ..

We was sitting on the runway waiting for some more JB's to land kills with. I was looking around for cons and noticed a pilot tooling around on the runway. He walked up and around our planes then stopped next to my canopy. I figured he was a friendly. Suddenly he opened fire on me. In two shots I had blood spraying the windows and had to tower. Funny stuff.

LOL!!! So i actually have a chance of doing some damage when I fire my .45 at the guy who just killed me?!? Once it seemed like i got him, because i got a kill credit, but it was probably the gunshots i hit him with earlier before he got me. Never know though... its a nice thought!
