Aces High doesnt support SLI anyway, AFAIK, so you wouldnt gain anything here even if you got Win2k to run it.

WRONG
Yes it does you just have to modify a SLI profile for a another game for AH2, ask Whels. It took both of us a little digging around to discover how to do it, but SLI is totally possible with AH2.
SLI is driver enabled for games, not enabled by the games themselves.
Windows 2000 -
SLI does not work with Windows 2000 period.
XP Fix -
Good news - Check this thread I posted

New fix from AMD seems to have sorted out AMD dual core issues with XP.
[edit] Graphical front end to manually enable SLI for games not in the profile list.

well i tried all your fixes (thx much) but i still get lock ups (xp/AH2). Im using onboard sound and LAN, but have on occasion disabled them (in bios) as a diagnostic to see if there lies a problem, but no change :(
-
Aces High II requires a sound card with its native drivers loaded (DirectX suport). If you disable your sound card, I can gaurantee Aces High II will not work.
NOTE: Make sure you have loaded the chipset/motherboard drivers after installing the operating system.
-
I wonder if the lockups are another PCI bus latency timer prob?
Go into your BIOS and bump the PCI latency timer up to 248, see if that helps.
If that work bring it down in steps until you get lockups again, then back it off one step.
Good discussion on PCI latency here -
