I hop you sent that to Comcast. See hops #4 and 5 in your traces. Both in Comcast's network. Comcast has been having some problems the last few weeks. Not sure what is going on with them.
-
they told us they were doing work in the area ... a plus from an isp
The weird ? is why do i get a ping from the .38 arena's and no ping from the MA .39 arena ??? and is this whats causing my anonomalies ?
-
no VC now in any arena and getting the nasty udp switch message ...
:cry
-
Are the problems still showing up in Comcast's network? Seems they are really having some problems.
-
yea same thing last night .. udp switch and no voice either way ..
my hops are junk ..
here's the plot as of right now

So Comcast is still stumbling about a bit. Hope #14 does not mean anything Rosco. All bets are off after hop #5 in Comcast's network.
Heck, you have problems in the first 4 hops after the data leaves your computer. Seems Comcast needs to address this.
-
yea its ussually been ok .. its the 3-5 hops that are killing me .. and the no voice whatsoever ... gonna swap to my old hd that was working perfect on my dsl connect this afternoon and see if vc comes back , ill even bypass the gateway and go direct connect if i need to just to test this mess . no voice will be a pain come next saturday.
-
same thing after going back to my older hd .. everything runs fine ... except
i have no ping to the MA ... 100% packet loss
I do have a ping to the other arena's but no voice trans or rec at all .
ping plot still going bad at hop 5 then cascading back down
